Our next steps with NewLife.

Update time

We have emailed NewLife Pharmacy to request guidance on next steps. We plan to meet with their team on Monday morning, October 19.

We will also ask why Fifty 410 is only now learning about the voluntary recall and why our team did not receive a direct notification.

We will share confirmed information and next steps on this page as soon as they are available. Thank you for your patience as we work to get answers.

Previous update

Your safety is our priority.

Update time

Apothecary Pharma has initiated a voluntary Class II recall involving certain lots of tirzepatide. The FDA lists the reason for the recall as a “Lack of Assurance of Sterility.”

We have already reached out to the dispensing pharmacy (NewLife) to request a list of potentially affected patients, confirm which lots were distributed, and better understand the appropriate next steps.

At this time, we are still gathering information and working to determine which, if any, Fifty 410 patients may be impacted.

We understand that reports like this can be concerning. While this is a voluntary recall, we take any concerns involving medication safety seriously and want to make sure we have accurate information before communicating a resolution.

Please allow us some time to gather the facts, work with the dispensing pharmacy, and put together a clear plan of action. We are moving as quickly as possible and will provide updates as soon as we have confirmed information.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this.

Check your
lot number.

Look for “LOT” on the vial or its packaging. Select the medication and enter the complete lot number.

This checks the FDA lot list shown on this page. It does not verify your individual prescription or confirm which patients received an affected vial.

The medication, strength, and vial size must match your label.

Enter the full lot number, including the AP prefix.

Your entry is checked on your device and is not submitted to Fifty 410.
